The Garden Sour
Solving the problem of what to drink when you are not drinking, a delicate and refined alcohol-free cocktail.
- Seedlip Garden 108
- Cloudy Apple Juice
- Lemon Juice
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Sprig of Rosemary & Thyme
- Dash of Sugar and 1 Egg White
Add your own: ice cubes
Place the thyme and half the rosemary in the cocktail shaker and muddle together with the first ingredients, the lemon juice and vinegar. Add the rest of the ingredients, except the garnish, and shake vigorously for a few seconds. Add ice and shake once more, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into the coupe glass. Garnish with a rosemary sprig. Enjoy!
Although fiber in any form is helpful, there are some types that are particularly important when it comes to keeping the gut bacteria in good shape. These are known as ‘prebiotics’. A prebiotic is a special type of plant fiber which your body can’t digest but which encourages the growth of good bacteria in the gut. One could say that prebiotics could be considered as a sort of fertilizer for the microbiome. Apples are rich in fiber, and therefore they make your belly happy. Furthermore, many dried herbs like thyme, rosemary and basil are rich in anti-oxidant polyphenols.
We created a delicate and well-balanced prebiotic non-alcoholic cocktail with Seedlip, which is a gin without alcohol, cloudy apple juice, apple cider vinegar, rosemary and thyme.
